The radio workers hood. The adapter harness they sent to go from the old radio didn’t work. I had to go ahead and wire in the radio plug then it worked good. I did send a email to tech support and have never heard anything.

I ordered this unit to replace an OLDER one in my RV after it quit working. Had to get the "adaptor kit" with it as the wiring was different apparently. After I received it and reviewed the wiring diagram I realized I needed some help. Called their Tech Support and Daniel Hernandez was my contact. I explained my situation and he said no problem. Had me send him some pictures and a video of my wiring. He sent me a diagram of very specific detailed instructions and after some head scratching on my part (I'm not real tech savvy) I got it all back together and it worked first try, which is not how most of my projects turn out. Beautiful unit and the sound is great. Many thanks to Mr. Hernandez for his patience and kudos to Magnadyne for their excellent Tech Support and Customer Service.

Not the best photo but it gets the idea across. I needed to swap out the older model of the Magnadyne radio I had because it likely got wet too many times since it is located below the RV sink. The installation was straightforward though it has a significantly smaller footprint - a heavy template is provided to fill the original opening and the radio mounts inside of it. Ordering directly from Magnadyne was a very fortunate thing as they provide a custom harness to adapt the wiring of the older model to the new. I had an issue with speaker zones and Daniel H. provided quick support to help resolve the situation. The radio plays great and looks great too. This model has speaker zone A & B while the touch screen model (slightly more) has zones A, B & C. The radio has the added benefit of a charging port which is great since it is right by the entry door which has an electronic lock that needs periodic charging. Overall I'm very happy.

Have only been using this for about a week, so can't report on it's longevity, but replaced a piece of junk Furrion, which was total garbage from the start. Power button broke, DVD stopped playing in first 3 weeks, sound was terrible, volume buttons stopped working, etc. This Magnadyne unit feels to be much better quality, has more power, sounds better, is more intuitive, everything works and the manual is in color and intuitive! Plus, Magnadyne customer service hand built a custom harness for me to make installation easier. I'd hand's down recommend this unit to anyone in consideration of an upgrade.

Replaced Magnadyne M3 which worked with my steering wheel controls. I was told the M6 would also work with steering wheel controls but after making modification to RV and wiring radio my installer found the steering wheel controls don't work because Magnadyn didn't include a place to plug the remote control. Everything else seems to be an improvement over the M3.
