As far as GPS guidance goes, the Copilot is average. Gets you close but you always have to check it against other guidance - like an iPhone. Scar tissue teaches you to be suspect. One thing I absolutely hate is the off-road (parking lot) warning. Not sure how to turn that off without turning off other warnings. Fuel, rest area, Walmart - it keeps coming back on. Pressing OK doesn't prevent it from coming back if getting back on a road takes a little too long.

The 2026 map update for my RV Magnadyne GPS went very easy and quick with the instruction sheet provided. So far the update has been spot on with directions. The RV sizing is a huge benefit, it keeps you off roads to narrow for my size rig. Would recommend this update for the RV configurations.

Installation was very easy. Seems to work perfectly. The only issue is that the maximum length is 48 ft. With our trailer we are about 70 ft. The motorhome is 45, so that is what I used and it works just fine.

I was told by someone at the Magnadyne sales line that there was a new CoPilot release in early June. I confirmed that is what I would receive. Instead I was sent the previous version that was six months old. Now I'm stuck trying to get the one I was sent replaced by the latest version.

Update went well but I was surprised to find my phone was no longer linked to the system following the update installation. I don't recall reading that in the instructions. I would have taken the time to relink the phone when I was finished with the update. As it was, the "would you like to connect a device" displayed when I was starting the GPS to leave on a trip and did not have time to pair the phone. That was a minor inconvenience.

Disappointed. Thought it was an upgrade of co pilot to current 12, not staying at 9 and just getting a map upgrade. Cant tell an difference yet between old and new map but havent used it much yet. Think it was a waste of $100. Would like to find a replacement for the M11 magnadyne to get a better gps and be able to download android auto for wireless google display. Seems like the magnadyne m11 is old design.

Install was easy. Trip planning went well. Our first journey mapped out and went well. Construction however can cause issues during the trip. One instance we missed the exit, copilot showed it up further. That was our only glitch after loading the program. Are maps updated annually? Thank you

Here is how you identify your Radio Model & OS Version:

Turn on the Radio

Touch the HOME button
-
Slide the screen from right to left to expose the “Settings” icon

Touch the settings icon slide the black area on the left from the bottom to the top to expose “System”

Touch “System On the right side, touch “Software Version”
