Figuring out how to remove the defective unit from the base was challenging, but after that, all went perfectly & reception is back to normal. Ascending the ladder for final exterior caulking (butyl on inside of base at install) , I kept humming the Startrek theme song & thinking, “Beam me up, Scotty!” Tnx Kirk, for the new mini-Enterprise.
Wish I could have gotten black
It was a “plug and play” installation. I only wish it was still available in black, but who’s looking.
Thanks to the incredible and knowledgeable customer service given by Mark Jones for our new antenna. Our old one was literally torn off by a tree branch in a storm or driving. Mark gave us detailed instructions how to check the wires to be sure everything was still working and able to be used for a new antenna. I ordered the same antenna but in white color and it looks very nice. This new antenna either works 100 times better than my old one or the connections are totally connected this time. We can get 82 channels without Internet versus a few channels clearly. Mark was so helpful and so patient I cannot thank him enough. Gosh, just like the old days”real customer service”!! We will definitely be back to buy some more products from this company and look forward to talking to Mark again.

I really needed one in black to replace the original
An internet search for a logo name that was on the surviving part still on the RV led me to the Magnadyne web site with a contact us tab. After submitting my email request I was contacted the next day via email with a link to the proper repair parts. This was one of a very few times I have ever received a real person response from a company, not some chatbot nonsense. Within a week I had my tv antenna replaced. The original unit only lasted less then 4 years. I would think it should last longer than that, considering the old crank up units seem to last forever.
